Abstract

Cándida Elizabeth Vivero Marín, author of this book, allows us to know her work through a journey through the work of the best Mexican female narrators born in the sixties. In this study, the researcher seeks to analyze the symbolic framework in which female characters move in the narrative of some authors born in the sixth decade of the twentieth century. Her research begins with a historical-cultural context of Mexico during this time in order to take the reader through a journey that allows to know the advances and setbacks that our country experienced in the economic, political and educational aspects. Vivero Marín is mainly concerned with the study of the consolidation of a national identity and the efforts to achieve a technological and industrial development that would allow sustained progress in order to achieve the modernization of the country.
