The new face for working women. A result of an economic policy?

In the following article, the working conditions of Jalisco women are analyzed from a gender perspective based on socio economics indicators. These women’s principal characteristics are pointed out, and the elements that influenced them to be incorporated to the State labour force are considered. In the first paragraph, the background recognized as influential that conformed to the present day Mexican economical context is des cribed. In the second paragraph, Jalisco’s context is analyzed. In the third one, socioeconomical indicators are designate, allowing the face of women, as a work group, to be known. And the fourth part offers some ideas for reflection and conclusions are presented in the fifth section
