Abstract

This article touches on a fairly unexplored topic that deserves reflection: the role of children’s songs in the construction of social imaginaries. Children’s songs create and recreate imaginaries through their lyrics, which contain and transmit sociocultural messages and a defined discourse. In these lyrics one can find male violence against women presented as something «normal».
