There are women who defy patriarchal mandates, who are brave and combative, women who show us the importance of weaving affective networks with other women, who teach us not to give up, not to be silent and to fight. This is Wendy López, a woman from Xalapa, Veracruz. Since she was very young she has shown a rejection of social injustices, questioning the reason for certain sexist practices and the social construction of inequality.
