Abstract

This article is about the relationship between the National Action Party (PAN)** and the women who militate in it. PAN shares the dispute of the power and also alternates with: the Institutional Revolutionary Party and the Democratic Revolution Party. PAN is different from the other two as it is centered in its character of a party of «sectors», as opposed to the other two parties «of masses». A brief overview of the feminine presence in PAN and of the speeches generated by the «panistas» in regards to this topic, found in the changes in the auto perception of the wo men of National Action, in its planning about the feminine participation in the political life and the party, as well as its reluctance to oppose the system of «quotas of not overrepresentation»
