Female drug addicts in a therapeutic community in Granada, Spain

This work centers on the study of female addicts, abusers of different types of drugs, in the com munity phase of therapy within the «Human Project» in Granada, Spain. It sets out to analy ze some characteristics of drugdependent wo men, the consequences of the use and abuse of drugs, and its relation with justice; concluding with a proposal for some specific group intervention forms. Research results show that there are significant gender differences in terms of contextual reality and consumption patterns.
