I was taught to fear,
to be ashamed
for being a woman
Bow your head!
Lower your eyes!
Don't you see that you can offend!
And what to say...
That's the way you intend to dress?
Without someone to protect you, you shouldn't go out.
Of guilt flooded,
fear pursued me
How dangerous am I?
-I've had enough.
Sometimes I muttered,
As I bowed down.
