Abstract

In the middle of the street his eyes see shadows. Elongated and deep shadows on the color and shape of things. That the fact returns him to the father, yes. At twelve o'clock the father saw the night and the witnesses were enough to tell the story. In the confusion -the light inside the eye is lightning-, cars race against time, unknown faces return. Joaquin distinguishes the street, the buildings in the background. If he had come earlier, they tell him, the indecipherable night of glaucoma would be just a fade. Raquel cannot understand. The child looks at the furrow the father draws on the ground. They do not speak. Thoughts are enough, they throb with joy or fury.
