Abstract

With her small hands she clung to the bars of the stairs to keep from falling while the light from the window in front of her dazzled her, forcing her to turn her face in another direction. When she managed to focus her eyes on the hallway she wanted to run across it to get to the bedroom at the end, but stumbled awkwardly. He tried to get up, though he felt he could not. A wrinkled hand that she immediately recognized offered her help and she accepted it excitedly. When she raised her head, she noticed that her grandfather lifted her up in his arms with affection and gave her a tender kiss on the cheek while he said: “naughty Adriana, my naughty Adriana”.
