Abstract

Genetic engineering is a scientific discipline that has contributed to the development of man, resulting in the transformation of the origin of human life and its own development; derived precisely from scientific and technological advances in life sciences such as biology, medicine and genetics; being necessary for the state to develop normative orders that allow homogenizing these advances in relation to ethics and law so that there is agreement and balance between aspects that correspond to scientific discoveries, values and the legal norm. This is how it will be possible to live in a more harmonious and peaceful way in order to achieve better standards of living, in which the fundamental rights of the person are guaranteed and ensured: life, dignity, freedom, respect, equality and social justice, without the application of new technologies tarnishing the very essence of the person.
