Gender - as a form of social structuring and hierarchization - determines the experience of being “man” or “woman” from the subjective and cultural sphere. The meanings that have been given to this experience have changed with the passage of time and new social circumstances, but they have not failed to confirm how much weight gender has in the distribution of work, interpersonal relationships, development opportunities, knowledge production, art and the very experience of being and being in the world.
