Abstract

Verónica Valenzuela y Gómez Gallardo (October 19, 1954 - December 31, 2018) was a woman who has always been committed to feminism. There is no way to remember her outside of this reference. All paths, in one way or another, lead us to evoke her in this way, in the struggle for gender equality, whether in her work as a journalist, editor or promoter of literary workshops. Vero Valenzuela, as she was affectionately known, worked tirelessly in the city of Colima, where she lived for the last thirty years, in favor of freedom and intellectual independence for women, in favor of a fairer world for all.
