Abstract

Rosario Castellanos denounces the Mexican scene for women in the 70s in her work, «Kitchen Lesson». The author presents sociological aspects associated with the myth of the «submissive little Mexican woman» that tradition and symbols have portrayed with this portrait. This text offers us a photograph of the identity problem in which the double belonging of the body, the kingdom of things and imposition, organizes the ontological discussion of narrative identity
