Abstract

This essay discusses the subject of family and the impact of social policies that address practi cal and strategic gender necessities. Feminist studies have included new perspectives on dealing  with family contexts, legal framework and law reforms, as well as social policy programs and poverty, these last ones with the limitation on displaying family policies in which women are solely responsible for the family’s care and com bating poverty.
