ICT and e-government. Cooperation between South Korea and South America
Keywords:

This paper addresses the development strategy of the information and communication technology industries of the Republic of Korea from the point of view of governmental policies —which derives in its position as one of the vanguard countries in terms of electronic government and which places the sector as central to the growth of its economy—, and also addresses the export of systems or components of electronic government —this understood within a wide range that includes: consultation, design, software, hardware, among others— to Latin American countries. It is argued here that intergovernmental cooperation aims to facilitate the entry of South Korean companies into Latin American markets.
