Resumen

La península coreana es central en los estudios geopolíticos contemporáneos por su relevancia estratégica y las tensiones persistentes desde su división tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Este estudio analiza tres escenarios prospectivos para el futuro de Corea del Norte: colapso y absorción, reunificación pacífica e intervención militar. Mediante un análisis prospectivo que combina la construcción de escenarios y el análisis de variables geopolíticas clave, se examina el impacto potencial de cada escenario en la estabilidad y el equilibrio de poder en Asia-Pacífico, considerando el papel de Estados Unidos, China, Japón y Rusia. El objetivo es explorar las implicaciones geopolíticas de estas dinámicas y contribuir al debate sobre este epicentro de tensión con potencial para afectar la seguridad y prosperidad regional en el mediano plazo.
