Abstract

PORTES, Mexican journal of Pacific Rim studies, in the first half of the year 2025, presents seven research articles that contribute to the knowledge about the most dynamic economic and trade region in the 21st century. In issue 4, the reading public will find contributions related to startups, collective culture and scenarios on North Korea and stability in Asia Pacific; the gender wage gap, shock therapy and reformist pragmatism in China and Russia; chili in Thai gastronomy and digital nomads in the Mexican Pacific, works that can be consulted free of charge.
