Abstract

Pedro Zamora Briseño has practiced journalism committed to human rights for three decades. A graduate of the Faculty of Literature and Communication of the University of Colima, he was co-director of the magazine Justicia y Paz, an organ of diffusion of the Centro de Derechos Humanos “Fray Francisco de Vitoria O. P.”, A.C., together with Julián Cruzalta. In 2004 he received recognition for his Journalistic Trajectory in Human Rights from the Independent Human Rights Commission of Morelos and has published, in addition to the book we are reviewing, El dedo en la herida (2009) and Nuevas plumas del periodismo colimense (2012). Pedro Zamora gives us a book dedicated to his recently deceased sister Herminia, a book that has a suggestive cover and nine reports previously published in magazines such as Demoz (Morelos), Avanzada (Colima) and Proceso (Mexico).
