Abstract

This paper aims to understand the interrelationship between two concepts that are constantly being revised: critical ecofeminism and education for global citizenship (EpD), with the aim of analyzing how both proposals together can contribute to overcoming the logic of patriarchal and capitalist domination, as well as justifying the need to form strategic alliances to achieve social transformation and a paradigm shift where sustainable human development (dhs) on a global scale becomes a reality. The path to sustainability and equity involves freeing ourselves from an inhumane, unjust, and unsustainable development system that leads to the destruction and even suicide of the human species and the planet. To this end, the strategic alliance between EpD and ecofeminist movements that promote the care of human life and nature is necessary as the fabric of this new paradigm based on the ecological culture of equity.
