About the Journal

PORTES, revista mexicana de estudios sobre la Cuenca del Pacífico (Mexican Journal of Studies on the Pacific Basin), is an open-access publication of the University Center for Studies and Research on the Pacific Basin-APEC Studies Center (CUEICP-CEAPEC) of the University of Colima. It is evaluated by the Regional Online Information System for Scientific Journals of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal (Latindex), and is part of the EBSCO, CLASE of UNAM, Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge (REDIB), and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) databases.

 

The journal aims to disseminate research on exchanges between Mexico and Asian countries, understanding exchanges as commercial, financial, technological, political, diplomatic, and cultural, as well as the international organizations operating in the Pacific region, especially the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
