Vol. 3 No. 6 (2025): Retos y desafíos de China en el siglo XXI
China: history, institutions, and cooperation
The role of the People's Republic of China in the international arena has become increasingly significant in recent decades, making it a benchmark for research on development and economic growth. In the field of social sciences, the political, cultural, and economic aspects of China offer fertile ground for case studies and the application of comparative methods, with a view to establishing lines of action and guidelines for decision-making.
This edition addresses China's internal economic transformation, the lessons learned from its institutional development, its millennial cultural influence in Asia, and its growing activism in global cooperation, with a special focus on Latin America. The articles are organized in a logical sequence that examines: 1) the cultural and institutional foundations of Chinese power; 2) a comparative analysis of the state development model; 3) the methodological validation of this comparison; and 4) the application of this power and model in international cooperation.
