About the Journal
The journal has the objetives:
- To contribute and disseminate the scientific studies about Pacific Basin countries.
- To publish the national, regional and internacional research in the field of Economy and with the topics like commerce and investment, globalization, national security, education, economics development policies and commercial relations between the Pacific Basin countries.
PORTES is aimed at students and academic bodies of the economics, political science and International Commerce areas to spead the journal among the educative community to promote the scientific activitiy.
The journal is distributed between national and international Universities and Higher Educations institutes with Pacific Basin Studies Programs, with the goals of make networks of communications and knowledge exchange, and to publish the investigations papers about this topic.
The journal has the main policy to distiguish between research, documents, essays, reviews and bibliographical reviews.
The guidelines and requeriments to publish in PORTES has enlisted in the section of Instructions for Authors. The proposal will be evaluated by double blind peer review by the Journal's Academic Board, the National and International Committe. With the porpuse of publish only quality articles of the Pacific Basin.
