Abstract

The first thing to disappear from her desk was a pen with her name on it. Javiera had only been working as a journalist in the capital for a few weeks, so she tended to be very careful with all her personal belongings. However, she chose not to make a big deal out of it, assuming that perhaps she had lost it herself. After all, Javi, as her closest friends called her, had made such a quick name for herself in the media that she undoubtedly had enough worries to forget a simple pen.
