Determinantes de las exportaciones manufactureras de mediana y alta tecnología en México (1990–2023): un análisis empírico empleando un modelo de corrección del error vectorial

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los determinantes de las exportaciones manufactureras de mediana y alta tecnología en México durante el período 1990-2023. Para tal fin, se estima un Modelo de Corrección de Error Vectorial (VECM) a partir de series de tiempo. Los resultados del estudio muestran que, en el corto plazo, dichas exportaciones están influenciadas por su dinámica previa y por la inversión extranjera directa. A su vez, denotan que en el largo plazo las exportaciones de manufacturas de mediana y alta tecnología están determinadas por la trayectoria exportadora precedente, el gasto en investigación y desarrollo, la inversión extranjera directa, el grado de apertura comercial de la economía mexicana y por la demanda de Estados Unidos.
