Los Contextos de la 3ª elección de Xi Jinping

El 20º Congreso Nacional del PCCh culminó con la elección de Xi Jinping como Secretario General del Partido. El suceso marcó la historia contemporánea de China; pues, después de Mao y hasta antes de Xi, los secretarios generales fueron electos en dos ocasiones; esa elección tuvo lugar en un contexto peculiar que determinará el desempeño del jefe de Estado de la RPCh.
Analizar ese contexto es nuestra finalidad; para estudiarlo, proponemos dos dimensiones importantes: la situación actual de China en el sistema económico internacional; pues, pese a la retórica triunfante del discurso presentado ante el Congreso del PCCh, la coyuntura internacional limitará los logros en materia de crecimiento económico y distribución del ingreso, en China. Nos interesa destacar el entorno sanitario de China durante el 20º Congreso del PCCh; pues, las víctimas de la Covid-19 fueron dejadas de lado, para garantizar el resultado político del Congreso.
