The following article is an analysis of the economic integration among the participants of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Progressive Integration Treaty, and the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, by means of an analysis of the sectors they include. Based on a quantitative analysis with trade information of the period from 2014 to 2023, the intensity of the trade and the goods exchanged among the participant countries is detailed. There is special emphasis of the Mexican case, that has participation in both multilateral agreements. It is concluded that there is evidence of economic integration in the period analyzed, aside from a progressive sophistication of the goods exchanged. For the Mexican case, it is concluded that the dependency to the U.S. has increased and there is a need to revert that trend.
