Abstract

This research article reveals the level or degree of stress in relation to various symptoms prior to the application of acupuncture therapy, and the level or degree of stress in relation to various symptoms after the application of acupuncture sessions.  the workers of the IEC Customs Agency in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. The instrument that was used to obtain information was the application of a questionnaire prepared by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). It is statistically validated and has been applied in other investigations. In addition, four acupuncture sessions were applied, one per week, lasting forty minutes each. Among the main results, the following stand out: Before the acupuncture sessions, 42.9% of the workers had migraines or headaches very frequently, after the acupuncture sessions, 38.1% of the workers almost never have migraines or headaches. head, prior to the acupuncture sessions, 38.1% of the workers very frequently suffered from the inability to fall asleep, after the acupuncture sessions, 33.3% of the workers saw the inability to fall asleep decrease from being very frequent, to almost never. fall asleep, prior to the acupuncture sessions, 52.4% of the workers had very frequently had muscle tremors, after the acupuncture sessions, 47.6% of the workers have never had muscle tremors.
