This issue addresses topics of ongoing interest in scientific research that allow for deeper reflection and knowledge on gender-based violence and sexuality education in the educational system. These discussions are presented in two different cultures that show how public policies affect awareness, attention and eradication of gender inequalities; however, their reproduction is also evidenced.
