Abstract

Living a feminist life is a pseudo-assistance manual, it is a set of experiences theoretically accommodated, it is a feminist manifesto, it is a constant dialogue between a you and a we mediated by affection and politics and it is also a "survival kit for killjoys". Sara Ahmed insists on recognizing the genesis of feminist theory at the political edges of everyday life and the questions we ask ourselves every day. Embracing black feminism (Audre Lorde, Gloria Anzaldúa and bell hooks), Ahmed incorporates into her feminist reflection the potential of singular and collective experience in the intention of transforming our g-local contexts. That is, the intention of showing how to live a feminist life is approached in the critique of diverse social problems (of course, sexual, gender, race) and in the feminist ideation of being able to give them a turn towards their, hopefully, transformation.
